Amber is a pretty Red Merle, with wonderful movement and a fantastic temperament. As a little girl she made quite a splash in the non-regular conformation ring, going BOB Puppy (46) and BOS Puppy (33) at two of the ASCA 2000 Nationals Pre-Shows. She was not entered in the Nationals themselves. She has also gone BOB Puppy, against competition, in four out of five shows since the Nationals. May 2002 Started Amber's herding training. She has such a nice, quiet working style and natural instinct and balance it took very little training before I decided she was ready for her first trial which was 25-26 May 2002. I'm as pleased as I can be with this young girl and her performance in the trial. She Qualified on Saturday with a score of 80 and then Sunday got her second qualifying leg, took a third place and completed her Started Sheep (STDs) Title. Amber finished her AKC Championship on 30 August 2002 with a Three Point Major. She was just barely two and finished her Championship with three Majors. After an almost two year hiatus from the Breed ring, Amber went back and in two shows finished her ASCA Championship with all Majors!! Amber has been spayed and retired to Glen Ellen California |
